Individual Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy and other treatment services are available for children (as young as 2 years old), adolescents, and adults of all ages. Patients may present with psychological, psychiatric, or adjustment problems that include the gamut of psychological and psychiatric disorders, ranging from mild to severe. Issues addressed with adolescents include academic, emotional and behavioral problems; substance abuse; and adjustment problems due to family disruption or discord. For many years, Dr. Spiegle and his staff have assisted individuals with coping challenges connected to trauma, loss, bereavement, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, substance abuse, medical problems, and sexual or emotional abuse. Individual therapy typically begins with a one- to two-hour evaluation and consultation session. This initial session assists in determining what psychological problems or issues should be the focus of therapy. Together with the patient, it is decided how best to understand and work with the identified problems, and to determine who on our staff can best address those needs.

- My son with aspergers, PTSD and suicidal thoughts has been to many therapists, social workers and counselors. He's been prescribed multiple medications over many years. The only real help and support from any professional has come from Dr.Spiegel. I feel comfortable with him in the knowledge that he truly does put his patients first.- Louise Carr. 6/29/2017
